Running the Tap

So, I definitely waste enough water in a day that the accumulated amount would take care of my potted plants, which is a goal. The trouble is - what do I do with those drips and drabs that I collect until I'm ready to water plants? I wonder if I could find something like the Britta thing that I have, but bigger, so that I could dump it in there and then fill a watering can when necessary. Hmmm . . .
