1st - the package recommends using several to get even fluffier clothes. I've been using the two from the package and that's been fine. BUT, you pull out all the dried clothes and then have to locate the balls for the next load, which can be tricky if you're in a time crunch. So . . .
2nd - here's the tip. Buy several balls - enough for the number of average loads of laundry you'd do at a time. For instance, I generally have 4 loads and I fold it all at once, so I've got 8 balls - 2 per each load. Saves digging time!
