Shredder

Well, I broke down and bought a shredder yesterday. I've never considered myself to be particularly paranoid. Not that I'm naive and think that nothing could happen to me, but I do try to have faith in human beings overall. BUT, as I've started to leave my junk mail that has my mortgage info printed on it, receipts from the doctor, and credit card offers just sitting on the side of the street for recycling, I did start to think that I was leaving myself wide open for something negative to happen. Besides - the kids will love this new toy :)

I did read that I may be able to compost shredded paper though. It was a quick read and I have to find out more about that, but that would be great!
