Update on the Oven Cleaning

So, the next Tues, I went to stick something in my newly cleaned oven - all excited about the aroma that would now waft into the living room and get my belly churning for dinner. Well, wouldn't you know, the oven had been sooooooo dirty (this is gross - sorry) that it had coated a spot on the heating coil where the protective coating had worn away. When I lit the newly cleaned oven, it caught fire!!!!!!!! And, it wouldn't go out!!!! I turned it off and did baking soad, water, flour. Nothing! Apparently, it's also not on a circuit, so that's troublesome as a whole other issue. I had to wait for my husband to get home, pull out the on fire oven, and unplug it!!!! Yeah - that was a great night. Still looks good though :)
