Costs of "Going Green"
To the best of my recollection, here's what I've spent thusfar . . .
Grey water storage container (1 container x3) - $6.88
Dryer balls (2 balls x4) - $9.44
Compost pail - $34.95 (could have been $20)
Bio bags for compost pail (100) - $20
Compost barrel - $190
Reusable grocery bags (5 bags) - $1
Shredder - $20
Sandwich containers (5) - $1.24
Britta water filter -
Filters for Britta -
Family water bottles - $14
Tall Kitchen Bio Bags (25 bags) - $5 + shipping ($5.50)
Puppy Poop Bio Bags (35 bags) - $5 + shipping ($5.50)
Rain barrel - $85
Of course, now I have to go back and measure what I've done away with to make any comparison, but here is a start and a way for me to keep track of costs until I put together something more accurate and easy to follow.
